Cuddling

Every morning we wake up to this little scene.
She should be sleeping in her own bed, but when she is in her own bed she wakes up about every hour to be fed. When she sleeps in our bed she stays asleep for 4-5 hours at a time. So we always start her out in her bed but after several hours of almost no sleep she always ends up with us and the three of us sleep through the rest of the night together. We kind of love waking up to her little face and curled up body next to ours so that makes it extra hard to keep her in her own bed.

And this next picture makes me want to die laughing (which kind of hurts my post-giving-birth body)

Adam can't get enough of this little girl of his. He would cuddle her all day long if he could.

She's not even a week old and I already find myself thinking, "No, stop growing! Stay this tiny for forever!"

  2. why "should" she be sleeping in her own bed, if everybody is happier with her in your bed?

  3. If she gets used to sleeping in our bed, I'll have to retrain her to sleep in her bed and I don't want to have to go through that frustrating process because it would mean lots of late nights with her crying as we try to get her to sleep in her own bed. I don't think I want her to be several months old and still sharing a bed with us because I don't think we would sleep as well with her wiggling around so I want her to get used to her own bed now, I guess.
