These Beautiful Chairs

In an attempt to have one blog post that is not full of pictures of Ella:

I saw these chairs on Pinterest and I think they are so beautiful! I would LOVE to have these in my future home.

And how cute is this sign above the bed of the cute couple from the Bleubird Vintage Blog?

A few more beautiful colorful things for the home from Pinterest.

More pictures of The Girl-- shocking, I know.

We May Have Gone Picture Crazy

Grandma Curtis came to visit Baby Girl. She made Ella this chicken skirt (tutorial here).

The little dress above was worn by both me and my mom when we were babies

Ella loves having her hair washed!

While trying to capture the above picture Ella displayed another one of her skills:

Even more pictures

Right after I took this picture, Ella displayed one of her many talents: her ability to shoot poop sideways out of her diaper-- it's an amazing trick. I especially enjoyed cleaning it off the chair.

Ella displayed her sideways pooping talent after this picture as well, right onto Great Grandma's skirt. Ella is good at making friends.

Such a pouty face

One Week Old

A week already?! What?! I never tire of staring into her beautiful face and hearing her sweet coos and grunts. One of my favorite things is when I pick her up and she turns her head towards me and starts sucking the heck out of my shirt-- it's hard to mistake what she wants.

The Lovely Marnaloah came to visit this weekend. She made this cute-o quilt for the Baby of Cuteness-- aren't the colors gorgeous?

We went on a walk through this cute little town close to where we live. This fruit stand sells the yummiest produce!

Baby Girl with Grandma Jones.
The reality of what I went through a week ago finally hit my body-- I was wiped out on the couch, watching Disney movies all day long, only getting up to change and feed Ella-- I didn't have the energy to do anything else. Luckily Patrice (Grandma Jones) was here to make sure I got food and to hold Ella while I was zonked out.

Grandma Jones calls her "Little Peanut," which is exactly what she looks like here!

On her "blue bed" to cure her jaundice.

My pumpkin got all shriveled in the sun-- I think it looks like a cranky old man with a loose tooth.

So this new blogger layout is way different than before, but I think I kind of like it. I'll see how it works out.

Cuddling

Every morning we wake up to this little scene.
She should be sleeping in her own bed, but when she is in her own bed she wakes up about every hour to be fed. When she sleeps in our bed she stays asleep for 4-5 hours at a time. So we always start her out in her bed but after several hours of almost no sleep she always ends up with us and the three of us sleep through the rest of the night together. We kind of love waking up to her little face and curled up body next to ours so that makes it extra hard to keep her in her own bed.

And this next picture makes me want to die laughing (which kind of hurts my post-giving-birth body)

Adam can't get enough of this little girl of his. He would cuddle her all day long if he could.

She's not even a week old and I already find myself thinking, "No, stop growing! Stay this tiny for forever!"
